Astral Projection / Astral Travel / Out of Body Experiences (O.B.E.s) / Lucid Dreaming —- What is it?
The concept of astral projection revolves around the idea that reality is shaped by the projection of consciousness into a distinct realm, creating a bridge between thought and the tangible matrix. This phenomenon is often referred to as astral travel, where individuals venture beyond their physical bodies to explore the astral plane. Astral projection involves the conscious mind leaving the confines of the physical form to enter the astral body, a more subtle energy form that enables experiential journeys.
During astral projection, individuals remain connected to their physical bodies by a silver cord, which acts as an energetic link resembling an umbilical connection. Some adept practitioners report being able to perceive this cord as they traverse the astral realms.
While astral projecting, individuals maintain conscious awareness of encounters beyond the physical body, providing unique insights and experiences.
The practice of astral projection has deep historical roots, tracing back thousands of years to ancient civilizations such as China. In contemporary times, astral projection finds resonance within the New Age movement, as individuals seek to expand their understanding of consciousness and the interconnectedness of the universe.
Astral Projection and Lucid Dreaming
There are two primary methods to explore the astral plane: Astral Projection and Lucid Dreaming.
Every time a person sleeps, their consciousness detaches from their physical body and transitions into a subtler form of existence known as the Astral Body.
Astral Projection involves being consciously aware of this transition and the experiences that occur in the astral realm.
Lucid Dreaming: Lucid dreaming on the other hand, happens, when the Astral Body has already detached itself from the physical body and the person is experiencing the dream state. Suddenly, the individual becomes aware that they are dreaming while still within the dream itself, possessing the ability to exercise control over the dream's content and direction. This awareness allows them to consciously manipulate the dream environment, engage in various activities, and even alter the dream's outcome.
Both Astral Projection and Lucid Dreaming are ways in which we can consciously access an incredible plane of consciousness of our multi-body, multi-plane existence.
Both experiences offer unique insights into the nature of consciousness and the boundaries of reality, contributing to the exploration of the mind's potential.
The 5th Dimension
Astral projection and Lucid Dreaming have in common the fact that they both occur in the 5th dimension. We’re normally conscious of the 3dimensional world, but through astral projection or lucid dreaming we can become aware of the 5th dimension through our astral bodies. The astral body detaches from the physical body through astral projection or lucid dreaming, but the key difference is that through astral projection it’s possible to be conscious of the detachment procedure whereas through lucid dreaming that detachment has already taken place and we become conscious (lucid) of our dreams (mental projections). A person who is lucid dreaming can also abandon the dream to explore the purer astral world by focusing and meditating inside the lucid dream. But staying inside the dream can also be fun and productive since by doing so it’s possible to reprogram the mind. Both astral projection are amazing trascendantal experiences.
Astral projection and lucid dreaming share a common aspect: they both transpire within the realm of the 5th dimension. While our usual consciousness resides in the 3-dimensional world, astral projection and lucid dreaming enable us to perceive the 5th dimension through our astral bodies. Through these practices, the astral body disengages from the physical form. However, a key distinction exists: astral projection permits conscious awareness of the detachment process, whereas lucid dreaming involves a pre-existing detachment, and we become lucidly conscious of our mental projections in dreams.
During astral projection, we can actively participate in the detachment procedure, while in lucid dreaming, we realize that detachment has already occurred, allowing us to engage with our dreams consciously. In the state of lucid dreaming, individuals can also choose to depart from the dream environment to explore the more refined astral realm through focused meditation. Yet, opting to remain within the dream offers opportunities for enjoyment and productivity, as it facilitates the reprogramming of the mind.
Both astral projection and lucid dreaming present remarkable and transcendent experiences that offer profound insights into the nature of consciousness and the dimensions beyond. These practices hold the potential to unlock new vistas of perception and understanding
In conclusion, astral projection is a captivating practice that explores the boundaries of consciousness and reality. With roots dating back thousands of years, it continues to captivate individuals seeking to expand their awareness and explore the interconnected dimensions of existence. Whether one resonates with the mystical or phasing model, the journey of astral projection offers a transformative perspective on the nature of reality and the boundless potential of human consciousness.
