What Happens When We Die? A Spiritual and Astral Perspective
Understanding the Afterlife Through the Lens of Astral Projection
What really happens when we die?
It’s one of life’s most universal — and most feared — questions.
But if you ask astral travelers, spiritual masters, or ancient wisdom traditions, the answer is clear:
We don’t die. We transition.
Our consciousness moves from the physical world into another dimension — known as the astral plane.
Where Do We Go After Death?
Our souls are eternal. What we call death is actually the moment we shift from the 3rd dimension (our physical reality) to the 5th dimension — the astral plane, a higher vibrational world where our consciousness continues.
Unfortunately, modern Western culture avoids talking about death — leaving many unprepared, fearful, and confused when it inevitably arrives.
But this wasn’t always the case.
In cultures like those of ancient Egypt, Tibet, and Mesoamerica, preparing for death was part of life. Even today, Tibetan Buddhist monks spend their entire lives practicing for this moment — training through dream yoga, meditation, and conscious out-of-body travel so they can transition peacefully and fully aware.
Why?
Because understanding death eliminates fear, and prepares us to live — and die — with greater peace, joy, and freedom.
What the Astral Plane Teaches Us About Death
Through my years of experience with astral projection, I’ve learned that when a person dies, they don’t always realize it immediately. Many souls remain in the astral plane in a state of confusion, continuing their old routines:
Visiting their homes
Working the same job
Repeating familiar patterns
Why? Because the mind — which does not reside permanently in the brain — creates our reality in the astral plane. Whatever beliefs, emotions, or unresolved attachments we carry are projected into that realm.
Entire cities can be recreated in the astral plane… and vanish the moment a soul realizes:
“I’m no longer in the physical world.”
The Process of Acceptance and Liberation
Some souls struggle to accept they’ve passed. They may linger, trying to reach the living — especially if the death was sudden or there were things left unsaid.
Eventually, though, every soul reaches a point of acceptance.
And that’s when true healing begins.
From there, they awaken to the reality of the astral plane — a beautiful, light-filled dimension with fewer energetic laws than our dense 3D world.
The physical world is governed by 48 laws
The astral plane has only 24 — and the fewer the laws, the greater the freedom and joy
This is why so many describe the afterlife as paradise.
